Not sure why there isn't a Chinese or Korean Confucian Philosophy. They definitely exist. Or is the presumption that because Confucius was Chinese it's ipso facto "Chinese Confucian Philosophy" along with the subsequent thinkers... and because Korea is in the middle, they don't have one of their own? Not sure what the logic is here. I'm pretty sure the impact of confucianism and its revisions have taken
distinct shape in these countries and even still when you begin
considering south asian countries. But then again it might just be that there was somebody articulate enough to write a Japanese Confucian Philosophy... and there isn't one for Korean philosophy. I don't know.*shrug
